Course Descriptions:

 

Knowing God: This course fulfills the heartfelt desire of every true believer, which is simply to KNOW God. This course is designed to take the student on a course to a new level of understanding of the nature of God and how he desires to relate to his people. 

 

Old Testament Survey I: This course will provide the student with a general survey of the Old Testament from Genesis to the Song of Solomon. The student will review each individual book while focusing specifically on the author, theme and message it relays concerning God's plan of redemption for his people.

 

Old Testament Survey II: This course is a continuation of part I and will offer the student a general survey of the Old Testament from Isaiah to Malachi. The purpose of the class is to review each individual book, focusing specifically on the author, theme and message it relays concerning God's plan of redemption for his people.

 

New Testament Survey I:  This course will take the student on a look at the four gospels and the Book of Acts from a historical and thematic perspective. Attention will also be given to culture and geography of the times and settings, with a specific focus on Christ and salvific message.

 

New Testament Survey II: This course is a continuation of part I and will take the student on an overview from the Book of Acts to Revelation. Special emphasis throughout this class will be given to a focus on the message of the Apostles to the churches regarding Kingdom living.

 

Doctrine of The Holy Spirit: The student in this class will come to a thorough understanding of the person, purpose and ministry of the Holy Spirit in the church today. This will include a study of the gifts of the Spirit and their specific operation in the lives of Christians in the end times.

 

The Life of Christ: No study of the life of Christ would be complete without a thorough study of His humanity and divinity as they relate to his life and work. The course will look at his life as presented by his disciples through their gospels. This will entail a review of the culture, times and socio-political reality of this time period.

 

Discipleship: In Matthew 28: 19-20, Christ gives his disciples a directive to go into all the nations, teaching the gospel and making disciples of all people. In this class the student will come to understand the need as a Christian to participate in this great commission and gain the knowledge and skills necessary to be an effective soul winner in the end time harvest.

 

Christ The Healer: The entire bible from Genesis to Revelation is rife with an abundance of scriptures relating to God's desire to heal his people frm sickness and disease. Divine healing is a benefit that the people of God have through the atonement of our Lord Jesus. This course will guide the student using scripture to achieve a knowledge and thorough understanding of how to receive healing and minister healing to others.

 

Church History I: In this course we trace the development of church history from the beginnings of the early church in the first century to the Middle Ages. Special emphasis will be given to significant events and theological issues during this time period that helped to shape church history.
